According to Gio Corsi’s twitter page, a patch for Borderlands 2 is coming next week. No date or details were given, but fans of the game have been hoping for a patch to help out with frame-rate issues as well as the game freezing and crashing. Some are also holding out hope that a more robust control configuration will be an option in the patch, as the back touch pad is the least ideal area to control any of the require functions in Borderlands 2.
On a personal note, I picked the game up when it was available as a physical cartridge, and haven’t had any freezing or crashing (and I’m about 25 hours in), but the frame-rate does dip when the action gets heavy, or when it a populated section of the game (such as Sanctuary).
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the patch addresses these issues.
